2002 – Reel Visibility

May 3-5

Twenty-nine films were shown including First Down by Lynn Molnar (originally from London). At the other end of the spectrum, was Hand on the Pulse, a poignant story of Joan Nestle, political and sexual “bad girl” and co-founder of the Lesbian Herstory Archives in New York City. The woman’s dance, presented jointly by Womyn in Motion and the Reeling Spinsters, was a lot of fun and DJ Cass helped us celebrate another year of lesbian film. In our eleventh year, we built on the successes of the past and carried on.
